Do's of Babywearing

• Only use this carrier with babies and children weighing between 8 lb. and 35 lb. (Under 8 lb. Consult a Health Care
    Professional)
• Read and follow all printed instructions before use.
• The caregiver should be aware of increased risk of baby falling out of the carrier as baby becomes more active.
• Ensure that the baby is safely positioned in the carrier according to manufacturer’s instructions for use.
• Check on the baby often. Ensure that the baby is periodically repositioned.
• Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabric and damaged hardware before each use. If found, stop using carrier.
• Always check to ensure that all knots and adjustments are secure.
• If you nurse your baby in the carrier, always reposition after feeding so baby’s face is not pressed against your body
  and reposition baby upright.
• Keep the carrier away from children when it is not in use.
• When wearing baby in the “Hip” position keep one arm around baby at all times.
• Use caution when moving around doorways and sharp objects.
• Always make sure the carrier fits snugly and that baby is held securely to your chest. If the carrier feels loose or too
  tight, discontinue use of the carrier, you may need a different size.

Dont's of Babywearing

• Never use this carrier with babies smaller than 8 lb. without seeking the advice of a healthcare professional.
• Never use the carrier while engaging in activities such as cooking and cleaning which involve a heat source or
  exposure to chemicals.
• Never place more than one baby in the carrier.
• Never use more than one carrier at a time.
• Never leave a baby in a carrier that is not being worn.
• Never use the carrier when balance or mobility is impaired because of exercise, drowsiness, or medical
  conditions.Your balance may be adversely affected by your movement and that of your child.
• Never wear the carrier while driving or being a passenger in a motor vehicle.
• The carrier is not suitable for sporting activities, e.g. running, cycling, swimming and skiing.
• Do not wear baby on your back.
• Never use the carrier in any body of water.
• Do not fall asleep while wearing your baby in the carrier.
• Do not wear baby facing outward until baby has head control.
• Do not use the “Hip” position until baby is able to sit up unassisted.
• Warning: Active carrier may slip on slick fabrics. Avoid dressing baby in clothing made of slippery fabrics when
  wearing baby in the Active carrier.
